Job summary

University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated Clinical Research Practitioner (Research Imaging Technician) to join the Research & Development team. The role focuses on imaging and delivery of ophthalmic imaging within a diverse portfolio, ensuring high standards of safety and data quality.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in clinical research delivery and imaging.
• Competency across imaging modalities and equipment.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate participant recruitment and follow-up across studies.
• Undertake study-related clinical procedures and ensure data accuracy.
• Maintain and archive accurate research documentation and ensure protocol compliance (ICH-GCP).
• Lead imaging activities and contribute to equipment management and quality assurance.
