Aspion is seeking an Operator / Sales Support Coordinator in Crosby, Liverpool. You will support Account Managers with daily transport bookings, quotations and customer updates, coordinating with drivers to keep deliveries on schedule.

Handle calls and emails, input bookings and rates into internal systems, obtain PODs and assist invoicing. The ideal candidate has transport administration or logistics experience, strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Transport administration, logistics coordination or customer service experience would be advantageous.
• Strong communication skills, both over the phone and via email.
• Confident dealing with customers and providing regular updates.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Good attention to detail and confident using computer systems.
• A proactive approach to following up quotations and customer enquiries.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Support Account Managers with daily transport bookings, customer enquiries and general administration.
• Prepare and send transport quotations, following up with customers to secure bookings.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing accurate ETAs and delivery updates.
• Liaise with drivers and transport partners to monitor deliveries and ensure shipments are running on schedule.
• Keep customers informed of any delays, changes or delivery confirmations.
• Obtain proof of delivery (PODs) and ensure these are sent to customers promptly.
• Accurately input transport bookings, rates and shipment details onto internal systems.
• Handle incoming calls and emails, resolving customer enquiries efficiently.
• Maintain accurate transport records and assist with invoicing and delivery paperwork.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular communication and reliable service.

Salary: £28,000-£31,000 + Quarterly Team Bonus

This is a busy, customer-focused role involving daily communication with clients, coordinating transport bookings, preparing quotations and keeping customers updated on their deliveries.

The successful candidate will work closely with Account Managers, drivers and transport partners to ensure bookings are managed efficiently and customers receive a high standard of service.
