Job summary

Staffline is recruiting Production Operatives for a leading pork processing site in the UK. Roles are available as full-time or part-time across multiple production departments with full training provided and opportunities to develop new skills. Overtime is paid at higher rates and flexible shifts run Monday to Friday.

The site offers on-site support from Staffline, free parking, PPE and a strong team environment. Applicants should have transport to the site and a positive, work-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced food production is preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately.

Responsibilities

• Load products into machinery and processing equipment.
• Place products onto racks and production lines.
• Move products through various production stages.
• Pack and seal products for dispatch.
• Carry out quality checks and ensure specifications are met.
• Support production schedules and departmental targets.
• Operate equipment safely and follow site procedures.
• Complete basic production records and paperwork.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and housekeeping.
• Support continuous improvement activities across the department.

Production Operative for our client, a leading pork processing facility based in

Staffline is recruiting Production Operatives to join a range of production departments across the site. Whether you are looking for

full-time or part-time work, this is a fantastic opportunity to

join a supportive team with

full training provided and

opportunities to develop new skills.

Full-time and part-time positions are available between Monday and Friday.

The rate of pay is

£13.00 per hour

Overtime is available and is paid

£19.50 per hour

The hours of work are:

06.25am to 3.25pm

Students are welcome to apply.

Applicants must have their own transport to travel to the site.

Your Time at Work

As an Operative, you will play an important role in helping to produce high-quality pork products safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

Working across a variety of production areas, your duties may include:

• Loading products into machinery and processing equipment
• Placing products onto racks and production lines
• Moving products through various production stages
• Packing and sealing products ready for dispatch
• Carrying out quality checks and ensuring product specifications are met
• Supporting production schedules and departmental targets
• Operating equipment safely and following site procedures
• Completing basic production records and paperwork
• Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and housekeeping
• Supporting continuous improvement activities across the department
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure customer requirements are achieved

The role involves working in a chilled food production environment.
