Marshalls plc in Burton-on-Trent is recruiting an Operations Team Member to operate a range of manual and semi-automated machinery and, where qualified, forklift trucks. You will move materials and finished products around the site and assist with general site upkeep to maintain a safe, efficient work environment.

The role offers a competitive salary of £34,170 plus benefits, with Monday to Friday shifts (45 hours per week) and occasional double shifts on a rotating pattern.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Experience operating semi-automated machinery or robotic equipment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Current FLT licence (preferred).
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Commitment to health, safety, and quality standards.
• Willingness to develop a long-term career with Marshalls.

Shifts: Monday - Friday (45 hours per week) / Double Shift - Week 1 - 5:30am to 2:30pm / Week 2 - 2:30pm - 11:30pm

We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Operations Team Member to join our well-established team in Burton-on-Trent.

So, what's the mission?

You'll operate a variety of manual and semi-automated machinery, use hand-powered tools, and, where qualified, operate mobile plant such as Forklift Trucks to move materials and finished products safely around the site. You'll also support the wider team with general site upkeep, including housekeeping, cleaning, painting, and other maintenance tasks to help maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
