Job summary

Selco Builders Warehouse is seeking a proactive supervisor to lead a store team and oversee daily operations across shopfloor, yard and goods-in areas. You will drive stock accuracy, pricing and promotions while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will manage stock lifecycles, coach colleagues, and support the branch management team to ensure safety, compliance and an inviting shopping environment. This role is 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a retail team.
• Strong stock management and display planning.
• Able to work 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing your team to deliver excellent customer service and strong operational performance.
• Overseeing day-to-day operation of the shopfloor, external yard, checkouts and Goods-In areas.
• Managing the full stock lifecycle, from receipts to replenishment, merchandising and sale.
• Maintaining stock availability and integrity, reducing losses and managing damaged stock.
• Ensuring high shopfloor standards, pricing, planogram compliance and promotions.
• Driving sales and profitability through operational standards and stock control.
• Coaching colleagues to build capability and deliver high standards.
• Supporting branch management and taking responsibility on duty.
• Ensuring the branch is safe, compliant, well-stocked and welcoming to customers.
• The working hours for this role are 37.5 per week.
