SSE plc, via SSE Renewables, is seeking an Operations Systems Engineer to own the configuration, testing and commissioning of new Onshore Wind, Solar and Battery Energy Storage assets into SSE’s centralised control systems.
You will develop system improvements with OT, IT and Telecoms teams, push for better operational performance and contribute to the resilience of our 24/7 operations while working from Inveralmond House, Perth.
Base Location: You'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in Inveralmond House Office, Perth.
Salary:£54,952 - £64,738 depending on skills and experience + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

As we continue to grow our Onshore Wind, Solar and Battery Energy Storage operations across Great Britain and Ireland, we’re looking for an Operations Systems Engineer to help power that growth.
This is a unique opportunity to sit at the heart of our 24/7 operations capability, ensuring our operational systems remain secure, resilient and fit for the future. You’ll be responsible for configuring and commissioning new renewable energy assets into our centralised control systems, helping maximise asset performance, operational efficiency and commercial value.
Working closely with specialists across Operations, Project Delivery, OT, IT and Telecoms, you’ll take ownership of delivering systems that support the safe and efficient operation of our renewable energy portfolio. You’ll also be encouraged to challenge established ways of working, identify improvements and help build the exceptional operational and technology foundations needed for SSE’s continued growth.
