SSE PLC is seeking a Senior Contract Manager to lead commercial management for our renewables portfolio. You will drive procurement strategies, negotiate contracts and oversee supplier performance to secure long‑term value and cost efficiency.
Based in Glasgow or Perth with a flexible pattern, the role reports to the Procurement & Commercial Manager and supports KPI delivery across asset management activities in wind, solar and battery projects.
Base Location: You'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in one of the following locations :Glasgow or Perth
Salary: £59,800 - £89,800 + car /car allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Contract Manager to join our Procurement & Commercial team supporting the SSE Renewables Onshore Wind, Solar & Battery Asset Management business unit
Reporting to the Procurement & Commercial Manager, you will lead the commercial management and administration of select operational contracts. You will provide commercial advice, protect SSE's contractual position and support the safe, compliant and cost-effective operation of renewable assets. You will also support the delivery of departmental KPIs and objectives such as savings in total cost of ownership, value engineering and safety performance.
You will combine strong commercial acumen with well-developed stakeholder management, problem-solving, communication and negotiation skills. You will be comfortable taking ownership of complex matters, working across functions and providing clear recommendations to senior stakeholders.
