Job summary

Fanatics Commerce is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a team of warehouse Operatives across shifts at our Manchester site. You will drive performance in quality, efficiency and safety while delivering fan-centric fulfilment goals.

You will manage holiday approvals and conduct regular coaching, using data, automation, and WMS tools to identify bottlenecks and implement improvements across the D2C operation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years warehousing operational experience, preferably in a D2C fulfilment environment.
• 2+ years team leadership experience managing warehouse operatives in a fast-paced operational setting.
• Demonstrated experience in people management including holiday approvals, absence management, and disciplinary processes.
• Proven ability to implement process-level change, including improvements to standards of the working environment and operational workflows.
• Demonstrable experience in building and embedding a health and safety culture across a warehouse team.
• Knowledgeable operator and user of Warehouse Management System (WMS) tools and platforms.
• Experience in D2C warehouse processes, with a track record of meeting and exceeding volume, quality, and service performance targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Operatives across shifts to meet performance targets in volume, quality, and service.
• Drive safety standards and adherence to operational best practices across the shift.
• Coach, develop, and performance-manage staff through regular feedback and development opportunities.
• Handle holiday approvals, absence management and disciplinary processes with fairness and clarity.
• Deliver pre-shift briefings and intra-shift communications to keep the team aligned with goals and changes.
• Utilise data, automation, and WMS insights to identify bottlenecks and improve shift outcomes.
