We are looking for a Permanent Operations Supervisor.

£28,000-£35,000kpa

Location : Weston Super Mare

Shift : 2 shift pattern Monday to Friday with hours between 0600 and 2000

JDR Recruitment are recruiting for an Operations Supervisor to join our clients team based in Weston Super Mare.

The role

As an operations supervisor, you will be an experienced professional from a fast‑paced operational background, ideally from transport, but the role is trainable for the right person with the right attitude and skills from a different sector.

Working alongside the operations manager your key responsibilities will include :

  • Proficiently utilise computer applications, including transport management software and Google Workspace (particularly Google Sheets).
  • Communicating effectively with internal departments, customers, and external partners via telephone, email, and in person.
  • Maintaining accurate records across a number of systems including driver hours, mileage, telematics data, DBS checks for staff.
  • Providing crucial support to the Operations Manager in day‑to‑day transport operations.
  • Managing the early stages of incident/accident investigations, to determine fault and facilitate the next stages.
