Position: Operations Supervisor

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Medway ME10 3NH

Shift: Monday-Friday / 07:00-15:00

We are currently hiring for an Operations Supervisor based at our site in Stafford, working days, 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

This role will ensure the safe and efficient throughput of traffic within the various sortation areas of the operation in accordance with the individual work area requirements. You will need a strong work ethic and attention to detail. It’s a physical job in a busy warehouse hub that’s always working at full speed, so you’ll be on the go throughout your shift. Your attention to detail will ensure every parcel gets to its customer right on time.

Key Role Responsibilities

1. Management & reconciliation of warehouse (deliveries, Holdbay, etc.)
2. Efficient management of bulk/return deliveries with C&D and LGV fleet
3. Support bulk collection customer planning
4. Support LGV transport rules & regulations
5. Supervision of Saturday operation and site lockdown
6. Effective deployment of all operational resources in accordance with work area requirements
7. KPI targets are achieved or exceeded in accordance with work area requirements

Experience Required

1. Minimum of 1 year experience in a comparable or acting supervisory role
2. Knowledge of resource management and deployment
3. Excellent communication skills to provide, receive, and implement operational information and instructions
4. Good IT skills
