Job summary

Maine Group in Garvagh is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor – Material Preparation to lead the Material Preparation department, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality output on major engineering projects.

You will oversee material planning, stock control, and the workflow, develop the team, and drive improvements in productivity and quality while maintaining Health & Safety standards across the department.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in material handling or heavy engineering manufacturing.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of production planning and workflow management.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
