About the Role

As an Operational Manager, you will:

1. Ensure Compliance with Standards: Oversee adherence to healthcare/NHS guidelines for timely patient diagnosis and treatment, focusing on pathways that meet and exceed performance targets.
2. Optimise Processes: Identify bottlenecks in workflows, implement improvements, and drive accurate patient care.
3. Collaborate Across Sites: Partner with operational leads and healthcare providers to align service delivery with performance expectations, identifying gaps and creating solutions.
4. Deliver Informed Reporting: Develop detailed reports with performance analysis and actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
5. Maximise Resource Efficiency: Manage resources strategically to ensure effective patient care in acute settings.

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

1. Extensive Healthcare Operational Experience: Proven ability to manage operations within acute care environments, focusing on diagnostic and treatment targets.
2. Proven Performance Expertise: Experience in addressing diagnostic challenges and improving care pathways.
3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in designing dashboards to monitor performance and inform decisions.
4. Knowledge of MDTs: Understanding of multidisciplinary teams and administrative processes in acute care.
5. Exceptional Communication Skills: Ability to produce clear reports and collaborate across healthcare sites.
6. Leadership and Problem-Solving Abilities: Results-driven, capable of navigating complex challenges and fostering excellence.
7. Operational Expertise: Experience managing healthcare operations, with radiology experience as a bonus.
8. Time Management and Systems Knowledge: Strong organizational skills, proactive approach, and understanding of healthcare workflows.
