Job summary

JJ Foodservice is seeking an Operations Operative to join our friendly warehouse team. This is a full-time role, five days per week, with hours from 18:00 to 03:00 and a salary of £26,440 per annum.

The successful candidate will work behind the scenes to ensure the warehouse operates smoothly, with training provided and real opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
• Physically active due to heavy lifting.
• Fluency in spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer orders for loading onto lorries.
• Store items safely in correct locations.
• Check stock for damage, loss or short-dated items and report.
• Manual handling – lifting or moving products.
• Push and pull the trolley to carry items.

Operations Operative

The perfect candidate will work behind-the-scenes to ensure the warehouse operates smoothly.

This is a full-time position, working 5 days per week, with hours from 18:00 to 03:00.

Salary: £26,440.00 per annum

We Are Looking For Applicants Who Have

• Experience in a similar role
• Excellent people skills, as well as being a great team player
• Good communication skills
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK
• A physically active nature (due to heavy lifting)
• A good standard of spoken English

Responsibilities Of The Role

• Preparing customer orders that will be loaded onto our lorries
• Store items safely in the correct location
• Check stock for damage, loss or short dated items and report as required
• Manual handling – lifting or moving products as required
• Physical requirements – pushing and pulling the trolley to carry items
