Job summary

Electrogenos is seeking an Office and Operations Manager to keep the Milton Park site running and to support the CTO with diaries, travel, and meetings. You’ll work alongside scientists and engineers, coordinating with suppliers and handling admin that keeps a small company organized.

You’ll manage office, lab, and workshop environments, maintain records, and contribute to grant reporting and documents for partners and investors as the team grows.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
• Experience in an office, administrative, or coordination role.
• Well organised and reliable — can hold several tasks at once without dropping them.
• Clear written and spoken communication; ability to politely remind senior colleagues of overdue items.
• Proficient with everyday business tools: spreadsheets, email, calendars, shared drives.
• Comfortable around a lab and a workshop; no science background required.
• Experience with procurement and supplier management.
• Able to handle a broad, varied role with changing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Milton Park site operations: supplies, deliveries, visitors, contractors, and shared spaces.
• Be the first point of contact for building matters and site logistics.
• Support the CTO with diary management, meeting scheduling, and travel bookings.
• Organise meetings: circulate agendas, take notes, and follow up on actions until closed.
• Help new joiners with equipment, accounts, and induction paperwork; manage basic HR records.
• Raise purchase orders, track deliveries, and obtain quotes; assist with supplier searches.
• Maintain tidy company files, trackers, and shared drives; assist with grant reports and financial claims.
