Job summary

Electrogenos, based at Milton Park, is seeking a Lab Operations Coordinator to keep the lab, workshop, and office running day to day. You will ensure the environment is clean, safe, and stocked, and manage orders through to delivery. This is a hands-on, practical role suitable for someone who is organised and reliable.

You will work on-site with scientists and engineers; no scientific background is required and training is provided to cover procurement and safety record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Organised and reliable with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Clear written and verbal communication, especially with colleagues and suppliers
• Comfortable using everyday business tools (email, spreadsheets, calendars, trackers)
• Right to work in the UK and ability to work on-site in Milton Park
• Able to move between physical lab/workspace and computer-based tasks

Responsibilities

• Keep lab, workshop, and office running, ensuring a clean, safe environment
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and act as point of contact for engineers and contractors
• Maintain basic equipment records and stock levels for consumables
• Raise purchase orders and manage deliveries; chase late orders
• Handle post, couriers, meetings, and travel bookings for the UK team
• Assist with HR admin for new starters and onboarding
