Job summary

Electrogenos is seeking a Lab Operations Coordinator to keep our Milton Park lab, workshop, and office running day to day. The role is hands-on, based on-site with scientists and engineers, and requires someone who is organised and reliable to ensure nothing the lab needs is forgotten.

You will manage day-to-day lab activity, procurement, records, and administrative tasks for new starters. Prior lab or startup experience is helpful but not essential.

Qualifications

• Organised and reliable with the ability to manage several tasks at once.
• Clear communicator both in writing and verbally.
• Comfortable using everyday business tools like email, spreadsheets, shared drives, calendars, and task trackers.

Responsibilities

• Keep the lab, workshop and office running clean, safe and stocked.
• Raise purchase orders and monitor supplier deliveries.
• Maintain basic equipment records and health and safety records.
• Book meetings and travel for the UK team and handle basic HR admin for new starters.
