Job summary

Dudley Council is recruiting Strategic Operational Leads to shape housing and property services across the borough. The Operations Manager of Property Maintenance will lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for the maintenance of the Council's residential and non-residential properties, including repairs, caretaking, facilities management, estates maintenance and waste management.

These are senior, politically sensitive roles with flexible hours and a hybrid working pattern.

About The Roles

The Housing and Property Team is recruiting Operations Managers to support the delivery of several key functions.

These are senior operational service leadership roles, operating across statutory services and areas that are high-profile, politically sensitive and emotive. Some services operate outside normal office hours, so successful candidates must be prepared to work flexibly when required.

Successful postholders will report to the Associate Director Acquisitions, Compliance & Maintenance and will provide oversight across a number of related service areas.

The Operations Manager of Property Maintenance will lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for the maintenance of the Council's residential and non-residential properties, including:

• Responsive repairs and maintenance
• Caretaking
• Facilities management
• Estates maintenance services
• Waste management
