Job summary

xPO in Norwich is seeking an Operations Manager to run our contract with ASHI (Anglian Safestyle Home Improvements) from our Norwich site. The role offers up to £49,500 salary, plus car allowance and Bonus, plus 25 days holiday and other benefits including discounts and pension.

Day-to-day you will oversee the operation, manage costs to meet budget targets, and sustain strong relationships with depot drivers, managers and customers while promoting a healthy safety culture across the site.

Qualifications

• Must be an international CPC holder.
• Experience in transport operations managing a large driver workforce.
• Experience working with customers and maintaining strong relationships.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong management experience.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day you will manage the overall operation, ensuring that compliance and targets are achieved in line with business and customer requirements.
• You will need to continually control cost to ensure the site operationally meets or exceeds budget targets and look to continuously improve wherever necessary.
• Actively motivate, manage and maintain relationships with depot drivers, managers and customers.
• Proactively promote a health & safety culture, leading by example to help drive initiatives that will maintain and improve our culture of safety across the site.

If so, we are looking for an Operations Manager to join us and manage ourcontract with ASHI (Anglian Safestyle Home Improvements), to be based at our Norwich site.

What youll do on a typical day:
