What you'll be doing

Operations

  1. Overall accountability for operational safety and performance
  2. Line manager responsibility for operations supervisors
  3. Leadership role over all operatives and supervisors
  4. Uncompromising approach to Zero Harm strategy within the contract
  5. Ensure workforce is effectively resourced
  6. Ensure workforce are trained and competent
  7. Drive efficiency and right first time operational delivery through effective works programming
  8. Provide visible Operational leadership both on site and within the depot
  9. Proactively manage and support Operational Supervisors
  10. Proactive short interval control of operational programme
  11. Support the Supervisors in delivering effective briefings and stand down sessions
  12. Ensure that contract/project outcomes are in line with the required safety, quality and financial targets

Who we're looking for

  1. Experienced in the management of Operational teams
  2. Solution orientated individual, with ability to analyse risks and benefits of options to resolve identified issues.
  3. Proven experience of proactive management in a fast-paced operational environment
  4. Proven experience of working to tight deadlines with an ability to prioritise and multi-task
