Job summary

GXO Logistics in Glasgow is seeking an Operations Manager to own inventory operations, warehouse systems, and data governance at a fast-paced site. You will lead Team Leaders and MTOs, drive performance, and ensure alignment with safety, regulatory, and contractual standards.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 07:00–16:30, at the BAE Systems site. A hands-on leader with strong data skills and a focus on continuous improvement will thrive here, with pathways for growth and development.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyse operational data and drive improvements.
• Experience leading teams in inventory and systems management.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and manage Team Leaders and MTOs to meet objectives.
• Manage resources to achieve KPI targets across receiving, putaway, and stock control.
• Create and review performance reports with improvement recommendations.
• Promote Health & Safety compliance and policy adherence.
• Support disciplinary and grievance processes when needed.
