Job summary

Abbeycare is part of Optimo Care Group and seeks an experienced Operations Manager to provide operational leadership across its services in Sheffield. You will work with the Registered Manager and Regional Director to drive performance, quality, compliance and growth, ensuring safe, person-centred care.

The role includes leading Service Managers, managing workforce, governance, reporting and continuous improvement in a full-time, office-based setting.

Qualifications

• Substantial health and social care management experience.
• Strong knowledge of CQC, safeguarding, risk management and quality assurance.
• Experience leading managers across multiple services.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• IT, organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Commitment to person-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Lead Service Managers and oversee workforce management.
• Oversee recruitment, supervision, appraisals and employee relations.
• Monitor service performance, payroll and contractual requirements.
• Ensure governance, quality assurance and inspections readiness.
• Collaborate with the Registered Manager and Regional Director.
