**Operations Manager - Fire*** **Location:** North/West London & Home Counties* **Salary:** Up to £60,000 + Bonus + Company Car/£5k Car Allowance* **Working pattern:** Hybrid / Field-BasedI’m recruiting for an experienced **Fire Operations Manager** to join an established Fire & Security business, taking responsibility for its Fire Service & Maintenance operation across North/West London and the surrounding Home Counties.This is a senior operational role where you’ll lead a field-based engineering team, ensuring customers receive an excellent service while driving team performance, operational efficiency and continued development.I’m particularly interested in speaking with people based across North/West London, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire or Buckinghamshire, with the role involving regular travel across the region, weekly attendance at the Luton office, and flexibility to work from home.**The Role**You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day delivery of planned, reactive and corrective Fire Service & Maintenance activity across the region.Your responsibilities will include:* Leading and managing a field-based Fire engineering team.* Supporting, coaching and developing engineers while identifying training and development requirements.* Driving productivity, service performance and operational standards.* Building strong relationships with key customers and ensuring consistently high levels of service.* Ensuring Health & Safety, quality and compliance standards are maintained.* Managing operational budgets and ensuring performance against agreed targets.* Working closely with the wider leadership team to identify opportunities to improve service delivery and performance.**What I’m Looking For**I’m looking for somebody who combines Fire industry knowledge with strong people and operational management experience.You could currently be working as a Fire Operations Manager, Service Manager, Engineering Manager or experienced Team Manager and be ready to take on broader operational responsibility.Ideally, you’ll have:* Previous experience within the Fire industry.* Experience managing and developing field-based engineering teams.* A hands-on, lead-from-the-front management style.* Strong Service & Maintenance operational experience.* Excellent customer and key account management skills.* Good commercial awareness and experience working against operational targets.* Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.* A proactive approach to developing people and improving performance.* Full UK driving licence.**Package & Benefits*** Basic salary up to £60,000 DOE* Annual bonus* Company car or car allowance* Hybrid working* 25 days holiday + bank holidays* Pension contribution matched up to 5%* Life assurance – 4x basic salary* Health & wellbeing benefits* Online GP for you and your family* Wider employee discounts and benefitsIf you’re an experienced Fire operational leader based around North/West London or the surrounding Home Counties and would like to hear more, get in touch with me for a confidential conversation.
