Job summary

GSF Car Parts is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead a warehouse team of Operatives and Delivery Drivers in the UK. You will oversee Goods In, Goods Out, Returns and Stock Control, ensuring productivity targets are met and processes run smoothly.

You'll recruit, motivate and develop staff, coordinate with the branch manager, and drive continuous improvement across warehousing operations. A fast-paced FMCG background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a warehouse in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
• Proven ability to motivate and lead a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent planning and organisational abilities.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage the organisation and performance to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Goods In, Goods Out, Returns and Stock Control departments
• Oversee picking and loading for timely customer delivery
• Verify stock quantities against computer records
• Use personal judgement to develop effective solutions to challenges
• Assist the branch manager with holidays/sickness cover, weekly plans, and staff development
• Assist with PARC report KPI's
• Create a positive and supportive environment for employees
