Job summary

Morrisons is seeking a Production Manager to lead a large site operation and ensure high quality product delivery. You'll report to the Site Manager and oversee a team of Shift Managers, coordinating with operators and technicians on a day-to-day basis.

The role is onsite, demanding and pacey, with 5 days from 7 (mostly Monday to Friday) and occasional weekend work during peak trading periods. You will drive health and safety, KPI performance and continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership skills and experience in managing large teams.
• Proven track record in delivering results in fast-paced manufacturing.
• Experience in coaching managers to drive performance and change.
• Knowledge of Continuous Improvement tools and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Shift Managers responsible for a large number of operators and technicians.
• Ensure health and safety of all colleagues and drive improvements across the site.
• Maintain a balanced scorecard against KPIs to drive growth and efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and engage staff in the process.
