Sciensus is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the Scheduling team and optimise the utilisation of nursing resources nationwide across the UK. This hybrid, perm contract role focuses on strategic planning, process improvement, and high-quality patient care delivery.

You will guide a growing team, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and drive initiatives to improve service delivery and outcomes in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Operations Manager (Clinical Scheduling)

To help us be successful in our mission we are looking for an Operations Manager to join our Scheduling team. 40 hours per week / Hybrid / Perm Contract As Operations Manager, you'll lead the scheduling operation to ensure our nursing resource is utilised effectively and efficiently, supporting the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care across the UK

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our patients receive the highest standards of care by leading the team responsible for scheduling and deploying our nationwide nursing workforce. You'll combine operational excellence, people leadership, and strategic planning to maximise service delivery, improve patient outcomes, and drive continuous improvement across our Clinical Operations function.

We're looking for an experienced operations leader who can balance strategic thinking with day-to-day operational management.

Essential experience/skills:

• Significant experience managing scheduling or workforce planning operations on a national scale
• Experience using route scheduling and mobile workforce management systems
• A proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong coaching, mentoring and people development capabilities.

Desirable experience/skills:

• Relevant experience within a similar healthcare setting.
• Project management and change management experience.
• A resilient, positive and results-focused approach, with the ability to perform under pressure.
