Job summary

Sciensus is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Manager to lead an established infrastructure team and own the reliability, governance, and modernization of our Azure environment.

You will guide cloud patterns, champion IaC and cost‑aware engineering, and collaborate with Security and Architecture to embed secure, compliant cloud practices while delivering scalable cloud-native solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Azure experience and cloud transformation knowledge.
• Experience with IaC, Terraform/Bicep and Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with cost-aware engineering and FinOps practices.

Role Information

We're looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Manager who can do more than manage an Azure estate. We need someone who can help transform it.

You'll lead an established Infrastructure team while taking ownership of the reliability, governance and modernisation of our Azure environment. From moving lift-and-shift workloads towards cloud-native solutions to embedding Infrastructure as Code, automation, stronger governance and cost-aware engineering, you'll play a key role in defining what great cloud infrastructure looks like at Sciensus.

What you’ll be doing

You'll have the opportunity to:

• Lead the modernisation of Azure workloads towards cloud-native architecture and services
• Drive greater adoption of PaaS, containers, automation and serverless technologies
• Champion Infrastructure as Code, Terraform/Bicep, GitOps and CI/CD
• Own cloud operational health, availability, monitoring, resilience, backup and disaster recovery
• Strengthen Azure governance across subscriptions, policies, access, tagging and security
• Partner with Security and Architecture teams to embed secure, compliant cloud practices
• Support FinOps through cost optimisation, right-sizing, tagging and cost-conscious engineering
• Develop your team’s capabilities across Azure, automation, security and cloud-native operations
• Help establish reusable cloud patterns, landing-zone standards and platform capabilities

You'll bring strong hands‑on Azure experience and ideally have worked with technologies and practices including:
