Operations Manager, AMZL, Amazon Last Mile

Amazon is a globally recognized brand, distributing millions of products annually to our loyal customers.

We are looking for an Operations Manager for our Delivery Stations. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding and managing UTR and OTR operations at the station, overseeing people and performance management, and driving the operational plan.

Key job responsibilities

1. Understand the business issues and challenges of Last Mile delivery operations; identify strengths and weaknesses; suggest improvements.
2. Map business requirements, analyze workflows, design solutions, and prepare functional specifications.
3. Develop and report performance metrics, provide executive updates, and conduct forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to improve Customer Experience.
4. Research industry practices and apply them to solve business problems.
5. Design, develop, pilot, and roll out enterprise-wide programs to improve performance, cycle times, returns, delivery experience, and financial auditing.

A day in the life

Manage delivery station operations alongside team leads and channel team leads, ensuring high standards in safety, quality, productivity, cost, and compliance. Conduct review meetings with DSP supervisors and partners to address operational challenges.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 1+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Ability to push and pull loaded wheeled dollies up to 100 pounds.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 1+ years of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques.
