DESCRIPTION

Led by Operations Managers, the team strives for excellence in safety, quality, and productivity across our sites. As a site leader, you will manage other managers and develop operational plans to meet targets, driving operational excellence to shape the future of Amazon.

Key job responsibilities

1. Manage and develop a team of Area Managers
2. Lead operational teams on shifts, resolve issues, and enhance site performance
3. Analyze shift performance against business objectives and implement improvement actions
4. Collaborate with HR, Finance, Health and Safety, and Security teams
5. Design and implement initiatives to improve operational performance

A day in the life

You will oversee shifts at one of our operational sites, acting as a key link between various teams, including finance, safety, and operations. Your role involves close management of daily operations and contributing to site innovations. Your day will include meetings, performance analysis, planning for demand fluctuations, and mentoring your team to foster leadership and excellence.

Basic qualifications

• A degree
• Experience in people and stakeholder management
• Proficiency in verbal and written English and intermediate in the local language
• Experience using data or anecdotal evidence to influence decisions
• Experience in production and supply chain areas

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen techniques
• Experience in a similar logistics environment
