Bis Henderson Recruitment is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead a large-scale, 24/7 operation in the Ipswich area. This high-impact role oversees Operations and a team of 500+, requiring a visible, hands-on leader who can drive change and deliver operational excellence.

You will implement robust processes to improve productivity, safety, and compliance, while driving continuous improvement, capacity growth, and cost control across the site.

Salary: £55,000-£60,000

With responsibility for Operations and managing a Team of 500+ is a high-impact role requiring a natural leader who can navigate complexity, drive change, and deliver operational excellence. This is not a \"sit behind the desk\" role - we're looking for someone who is visible, engaged, and thrives on being at the heart of the operation.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Proven experience operating at Operations Manager level within a complex operation


• Strong background in managing large, manual 24/7 operation


• Demonstrable success in leading and delivering significant operational change


• A hands-on, visible leadership style with the ability to engage and influence at all levels


• Strong process-driven mindset with a track record of implementing improvements


• Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment


• Excellent people leadership skills with the ability to build and develop high-performing teams
