Job summary

Pertemps North Midlands in Moira, Northern Ireland, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to own a busy warehouse operation. You will lead inbound, outbound and reverse logistics, drive efficiency, service levels and continuous improvement.

The role reports to senior management, manages teams across shifts, controls costs, ensures Health & Safety compliance and builds strong relationships with customers. Monday to Friday, 7am-3pm, salary up to £50,000.

Qualifications

• Proven senior warehouse management experience.
• Experience in a 3PL/logistics environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Experience with KPIs, budgets and operational performance.
• Familiarity with WMS and warehouse systems.

Reporting to senior management, the Operations Manager will take ownership of a busy warehouse operation in Moira. This full-time, permanent post, paying £38,000 to £50,000 per annum, suits a hands‑on leader with proven experience across inbound, outbound and reverse logistics.

Key duties include managing goods in, dispatch and returns, driving productivity against agreed KPIs, controlling costs and maintaining safety and customer service standards.

The successful candidate will lead, coach and develop shift teams, implement continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.

Strong people management, commercial awareness and problem‑solving abilities are essential, alongside a track record of delivering results within a warehousing or distribution setting.
