Job description

OVERVIEW

Defence needs to replace the existing Logistics Commodities and Services Transformation (LCST) contract in 2028.

LCST provides sourcing and procurement for approximately 70,000 NATO Stock Numbers (NSNs), including medical supplies and clothing. It also manages warehousing and distribution for a larger portion of the Defence inventory, which includes over 207,000 NSNs. Replacing this contract has been identified as a top priority across Joint Support Enablers to prevent a capability cliff edge.

Future Defence Support Services (FDSS) aims to address current limitations by expanding scope to achieve greater economies of scale and Category Management benefits, which can be reinvested to enhance resilience, agility, and scalability, aligning with the latest Defence Planning Assumptions (DPAs).

Qualifications and Experience:

• APM PMQ/MSP/Prince 2 or similar qualifications are desirable
• Relevant postgraduate qualification is desirable
