Job summary

Nuffield Health is seeking an Operations Manager for our Enfield FWC. This permanent, full-time role (40 hours/week) offers up to £38,500 per annum, depending on experience.

The role focuses on managing performance, improving standards, and leading leisure/healthcare teams within our Fitness & Wellbeing Club. You will ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, support the General Manager, and drive a sales-oriented culture across duty management and reception teams.

Qualifications

• Operational background in the leisure or hospitality industry is required or highly desirable.
• National Pool Lifeguard Qualified Assessor is stated as a qualification.
• Ability to manage performance, improve potential and lead teams.
• Experience with health and safety legislation and internal audits.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and internal audit requirements.
• Support the General Manager with technical support and guidance.
• Continually improve site standards.
• Embed a sales mentality into the duty management and reception teams.
• Nurture teams’ confidence and pride to promote services to members.
• Recruit and develop colleagues to achieve quality and commercial goals.
