Position: Operations Manager

We are currently looking for an Operations Manager to join our 128-key Staycity Edinburgh property on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a positive attitude and friendly manner to join the team at an exciting time for the group.

Responsibilities

1. Supervise and manage the Front Office, Housekeeping, and Maintenance teams
2. Ensure efficient check-in/check-out processes for guests
3. Collaborate with Housekeeping and Maintenance to uphold cleanliness and maintenance standards
4. Work with the General Manager and department heads on operational strategies
5. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests professionally
6. Train and develop team members and HODs to deliver excellent customer service
7. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

Requirements

1. Previous experience in a similar role within the hotel or aparthotel sector
2. Strong leadership and management skills
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
4. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
5. Proficiency in hotel management software (Opera) and Microsoft Office Suite
