Job summary

Active Care Group's Jane Lewis Healthcare arm is seeking an ambitious Operations Manager to lead regional teams and strengthen client partnerships across the Edinburgh area. You will drive growth, ensure service excellence, and role-model inspirational leadership within a fast-paced staffing environment.

You will combine commercial drive with operational excellence to navigate complex healthcare recruitment challenges and deliver outstanding results for clients and professionals alike.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience within a recruitment agency environment, ideally healthcare.
• A minimum of 2 years’ proven people management experience.
• Proven track record delivering against commercial targets and growth.
• Strong operational and client management experience with service delivery focus.
• Commercial mindset with ability to identify opportunities and drive results.
• Strong leadership, communication and influencing skills to motivate teams.
• Data-driven mindset using performance metrics to improve outcomes.

What you'll have:

We’re looking for someone who combines commercial drive with genuine leadership capability.

You’ll be someone who can see the bigger picture but isn’t afraid to get involved and make things happen.

You’ll bring:

• At least 3 years’ experience within a recruitment agency environment, ideally within healthcare, social care, nursing or a related staffing sector.
• A minimum of 2 years’ proven people management experience, with a track record of leading, coaching and developing high-performing teams.
• Demonstrable experience of delivering against commercial targets, driving growth and increasing market share.
• Strong operational and client management experience, with the ability to build lasting relationships and deliver exceptional service.
• A commercially minded approach, with the confidence to identify opportunities and turn them into measurable results.
• Strong leadership, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to motivate people and hold teams accountable.
• A data-driven mindset, with the ability to use performance metrics and insight to improve results.
