Co-op Academy Delius in Bradford is seeking a full-time Operations Manager to lead the provision of a comprehensive operations service across its campuses. The role covers caretaking, site supervision, cleaning, maintenance, catering, lettings and events, building works and Health & Safety.

The successful candidate will ensure legal compliance and work with the Senior Leadership team to implement effective operational strategies, supporting high standards of teaching and learning.

Responsibilities

  • Lead on provision of efficient operations across campuses including caretaking, site supervision, cleaning and maintenance.
  • Oversee catering, lettings and events management, building works and Health & Safety.
  • Ensure legal compliance in Fire Safety, Health and Safety, IOSHH and COSHH and related requirements.
  • Work with the Senior Leadership team to implement operational strategies across Building Management and Safety.

Job description

At Co-op Academy Delius we are looking for a full time Operations Manager to work in our wonderful school. As well as possessing the right skills and experience, we'll need you to have bags of enthusiasm to lead on the provision of an efficient, effective, proactive and comprehensive operations service across our campuses, including caretaking, site supervision, cleaning and maintenance, catering, lettings and events management, building works, and Health and Safety.

You will have the necessary prerequisite to ensure legal compliance in relation to: Fire Safety; Health and Safety; IOSHH and COSHH and any other requirements in relation to building management.

You will work with the Senior Leadership team in implementing effective operational strategies including: Operational Management, Building Management, Health & Safety Management and make a real difference in ensuring all systems and resources are in place for effective teaching and learning.

This role is customer facing and therefore in line with the Immigration Act 2016; all applicants must be able to demonstrate fluency of the English Language to the level defined in the Job Description.
