Job summary

RG Setsquare is seeking a proactive Facilities Manager to oversee the delivery of total facilities management across a multi-site education portfolio. The role focuses on compliance, contractor management, maintenance delivery, and stakeholder engagement to ensure safe, compliant operations and high service standards.

You will lead site teams, manage budgets and documents, and coordinate lifecycle projects to optimise asset performance and reliability across all sites.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of FM services across multiple sites.
• Ensure statutory, contractual, health & safety compliance.
• Oversee PPM and reactive maintenance programmes.
• Manage contractors and supply chain, KPI/SLA performance.
• Coordinate lifecycle projects and asset replacement.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and service reviews.
• Investigate issues and implement corrective actions.
• Manage budgets, purchase orders, forecasting and cost control.
• Maintain compliance records and maintenance documentation.
• Produce operational and financial performance reports.
• Build relationships with clients and stakeholders.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the delivery of Total Facilities Management services across a multi-site education portfolio.

This role is ideal for a proactive FM professional with a strong background in compliance, contractor management, maintenance delivery, and stakeholder engagement. You'll be responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the sites while maintaining high standards of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of hard and soft FM services across multiple sites
• Ensure compliance with statutory, contractual, health & safety, and safeguarding requirements
• Oversee Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance programmes
• Manage contractors and supply chain partners, ensuring KPI and SLA performance
• Coordinate lifecycle projects, minor works, and asset replacement programmes
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and service reviews
• Investigate service issues and implement corrective actions
• Manage budgets, purchase orders, forecasting, and cost control activities
• Maintain accurate compliance records and maintenance documentation
• Produce operational, compliance, and financial performance reports
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
• Lead site teams and specialist contractors to deliver exceptional service standards

About You

• Proven experience within Facilities Management
• Experience managing multi-site operations
• Strong understanding of hard and soft FM services
• Knowledge of statutory compliance and health & safety legislation
• Experience managing contractors and service providers
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Experience within education, PFI, healthcare, public sector, or similar environments is highly desirable
• Full UK Driving Licence
