Job summary

Hydrasun is seeking an Operations Manager to support the Divisional Manager in leading and managing the division. The role focuses on safety, quality, and service, delivering KPI targets and profitability while developing our precision manufacturing capability.

You will deputise for the Divisional Manager as required and lead teams to ensure processes are clearly defined, compliant, and continuously improved to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline (e.g. engineering) or equivalent vocational experience.
• Formal Leadership and/or Management Qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Actively promote HSEQ standards and compliance.
• Demonstrate Company core values.
• Develop strategy for continued profitable growth of the division.
• Foster culture and focus across the Group to achieve goals and drive growth.
• Collaborate and communicate with colleagues to transfer best practices and promote best-in-class working practices.
• Deputise for the Divisional Manager when required.
• Lead and direct reports to achieve the Division’s goals.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, Quality and HR management processes.
• Lead strategy reviews, audits, budgeting and inventory management.
• Ensure processes are capable and clearly specified to meet customer specs.
• Review division processes and implement improvements.
• Provide regular reports to the Divisional Manager with benchmarks.
• Plan for future requirements and recruit/train accordingly.
• Support growth in sales of manufactured products.
• Plan work to meet customer demand and delivery dates.
