Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Sicherheitstechnik GmbH is seeking a Senior HR Advisor to join the Portobello Operations team. You will partner with site leaders to drive a proactive HR service, support employee relations, recruitment, and talent initiatives, and contribute to business-wide people strategies that boost engagement and performance.

You’ll lead on employee relations, coach managers, partner with Trade Union representatives, and help shape change initiatives across the operation for a positive workplace

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years' HR Advisory experience.
• Strong employee relations experience with complex cases.
• Experience in a unionised environment and TU relationships.
• Experience supporting organisational change and transformation.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary HR advisor for Portobello Operations managers, supervisors, and employees.
• Partner with operational leaders to deliver pragmatic HR solutions.
• Manage employee relations matters, investigations, discipline, performance, and absence.
• Coach and develop managers on HR policies and best practice.
• Build relations with Trade Union representatives and support consultation activities.
• Support restructures and workforce planning initiatives.
• Coordinate recruitment activity across the site and improve candidate experience.
• Champion Early Talent, succession planning, and development initiatives.
