ASSA ABLOY Coventry site is seeking an HR Advisor to partner with operational leaders to deliver pragmatic HR solutions, and to manage employee relations, investigations, disciplinary and absence matters, while supporting change initiatives and workforce planning.
You will develop management capability through coaching and training, coordinate recruitment, champion early talent, analyse HR metrics, and collaborate with Health & Safety to support wellbeing and successful return-to-work outcomes.
Portobello Operations.Partner with operational leaders to provide pragmatic and commercially focused HR solutions.Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and performance-related issues.Develop management capability through coaching, guidance, and training on HR policies and best practice.Build and maintain effective relationships with Trade Union representatives, supporting constructive employee relations and consultation activities.Support organisational change initiatives, restructures, and workforce planning projects.Lead and coordinate recruitment activity across the site, ensuring a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.Champion Early Talent, succession planning, and development initiatives to build future capability within the operation.Work closely with managers to identify and address skills gaps and development needs.Drive employee engagement initiatives and support activities that strengthen
communication, wellbeing, and inclusion.Analyse key HR metrics and trends, providing insights and recommendations to support business decision-making.Partner with Health & Safety and Occupational Health providers to support employee wellbeing and facilitate successful return-to-work outcomes.Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes, policies, and ways of working.
