Job summary

Colonial Group seeks a friendly and reliable Housekeeper to ensure our holiday accommodation is clean, comfortable and welcoming for every guest. You’ll prepare accommodation for guest arrivals and work with a supportive housekeeping team to complete changeovers efficiently.

This part-time, fixed-term role involves 6 hours per shift, including bank holidays as required, with full training provided to ensure high standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare holiday accommodation to company standards.
• Change bed linen and make beds for guest arrivals.
• Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas.
• Vacuum, dust, mop and wipe surfaces throughout accommodation.
• Ensure accommodation is well presented and ready for check-in.
• Follow cleaning checklists, procedures and company standards.
• Report maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness in communal areas as required.
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely.
• Report hazards or health and safety concerns.
• Work efficiently during busy changeover periods.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and resort teams.

About the role

We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Housekeeper to help ensure our holiday accommodation is clean, comfortable and welcoming for every guest.

You’ll prepare accommodation for guest arrivals, maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation and work closely with the wider housekeeping team to ensure changeovers are completed efficiently.

This is a practical and active role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, has strong attention to detail and enjoys working as part of a team.
