Job summary

Groundwork Cheshire, Lancashire & Merseyside is seeking a Support Services Manager on a maternity cover basis to oversee facilities management, HR administration, and health and safety coordination, ensuring smooth operation and support for teams across the region.

Reporting to senior leaders, you will drive continuous improvement, manage reception and admin staff, and contribute to sustainability and business continuity initiatives while delivering reliable administrative systems and safe

Qualifications

• Experience in a key administrative or support role.
• Experience of collating and monitoring organisational information and producing reports for management use.
• Experience of developing working procedures to maximise efficiency.
• Experience of facilities management.
• Experience of HRIS administration.
• Experience of managing people.
• Knowledge of facilities management responsibilities.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation and compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of HR best practice and processes.
• Knowledge of data protection and information governance requirements.
• 5 GCSE grade A*-C or 9–4 or equivalent inc English and Maths.
