Job Description
We are looking for a talented individual to join us as an Operations Executive - Assurance in Glasgow or Liverpool. Your role will involve performing key duties related to Operational Assurance functions, ensuring compliance with regulations and application of CASS Safe Custody rules. You will handle daily operational assurance tasks, including processing transaction dealing errors and ensuring ongoing compliance with relevant FCA CASS rules.

Responsibilities include, among others:

1. Ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard within deadlines, reporting anomalies, and meeting KPIs/KRIs/MIRs, as well as assisting in MI collation and highlighting issues to management.
2. Responding promptly and professionally to telephone and email inquiries, liaising with fund managers and external parties, and escalating issues when necessary.
3. Logging, maintaining, and responding to written client inquiries, ensuring all documents are relevant and up-to-date.
4. Contributing to team task reviews, identifying improvements to enhance client service, and participating in ad-hoc projects.
5. Maintaining a high-quality culture to minimize errors, ensuring accuracy in data input, document checking, and payments, and escalating issues appropriately.
6. Understanding and applying the Group's Conduct Risk Framework and engaging in continuous professional development (CPD).

Qualifications & Skills

• Interest in financial services, especially investment management.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and intermediate Excel skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Desirable:

• Experience within a financial services institution, particularly in Operations, is advantageous but not essential.
• Relevant professional qualifications such as CISI Investment Operations Certificate are desirable but not mandatory.
