Job summary

Humand Talent is seeking an experienced Operations Engineer to own and evolve infrastructure across on‑prem and AWS, spanning databases, Linux, virtualization and cloud technologies. You’ll work with a collaborative engineering team to keep critical platforms secure, available and performant.

You’ll gain hands‑on exposure to MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, VMware, Terraform and AWS services, with opportunities to automate and improve monitoring, backup, DR and deployment processes while growing

Qualifications

• Database administration across MySQL, MSSQL Server or PostgreSQL.
• Linux systems administration in production environments.
• Managing high‑availability or clustered databases.
• Monitoring platforms and operational observability.
• Networking fundamentals including DNS, routing and firewall basics.
• Scripting with Bash and Python for automation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain secure, highly available and high‑performing database platforms.
• Ensure backup and disaster recovery processes remain reliable.
• Expand monitoring and observability to improve operational visibility.
• Identify and resolve infrastructure issues before they affect customers.
• Improve automation, operational efficiency and platform resilience.
