Job summary

Finova is seeking a Cloud Operations Engineer to own and optimise AWS/Azure hosted infrastructure, balancing BAU with automation, resilience and security. You will work closely with development and security teams in a hybrid setup, ensuring stable, secure production environments.

You will drive changes with strict security controls, support CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to incident post‑mortems while maintaining high availability and performance across cloud services.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on AWS or multi-cloud ops experience.
• Strong Windows Server and basic networking knowledge.
• Familiar with SQL Server maintenance and monitoring.
• Hands-on CI/CD, automation, and deployment tooling.
• Experience with monitoring/observability platforms and alerting.

Responsibilities

• Operate AWS production and non-production environments focusing on compute, VPC, and storage.
• Lead incident triage and participate in on-call for P1/P2 incidents.
• Implement controlled infrastructure changes and support automated deployments.
• Provide SQL Server health checks and collaborate with DBAs for optimization.
• Own monitoring tooling to reduce alert fatigue and improve issue detection.
