Job summary

OSB Group is seeking an Infrastructure Operations Engineer to join a collaborative team supporting Azure, hybrid cloud and on‑premises technologies across the organisation. You will own tickets, tackle complex technical challenges, and help maintain compute, storage, networking and SQL platforms while driving improvements and reliability.

In this role you will work with engineers, project managers and incident managers to keep environments patched and secure, supporting private cloud datacentres

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Microsoft Enterprise Technology Stack including Microsoft 365, Windows Server, SQL Server, Azure Virtual Desktop, and related hybrid cloud services.
• Experience in regulated or risk-sensitive environments (e.g., Financial Services) is advantageous.
• High ownership and initiative with ability to work independently and drive issues to resolution.
• Knowledge of enterprise networking including routing, switching, load balancing, firewalls, segmentation, and secure edge design.

Responsibilities

• Maintain scalable, secure cloud and on premises infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and private datacentres.
• Patching, maintaining, and managing production, development, and test environments across OS and applications.
• Provide operational support for Microsoft infrastructure (on premises and Azure), handling incidents via ITIL aligned ITSM processes.
