Job description

For over thirty years, ADI has helped to revolutionise matchday experiences, bringing unrivalled expertise, creativity and passion to our projects. We are proud to work with football clubs across the Premier League, Championship and League One, as well as retail, leisure and other high-profile clients, while continuing to grow our brand internationally

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an Operations Engineer to support our studios division's matchday services. The successful candidate will help maintain and manage the smooth delivery of content from our Master Control Room (MCR) and 15 on-site production galleries to Premier League and Football League stadiums across the UK.

Working as part of our technical operations team, you will ensure that our in-house production facilities are maintained and ready for use on matchdays. You will provide technical support to production galleries and on-site colleagues during programme times, manage the MCR's output, support clients where required, and take responsibility for managing incidents and faults, including documenting progress and escalating issues when necessary.

You will ideally hold a degree or equivalent qualification in broadcast engineering or an AV-related discipline. However, relevant experience working within an MCR or live production environment will also be considered in place of formal qualifications

You will have:

  • Strong knowledge of video, audio and network systems.
  • An understanding of video streaming.
  • The ability to read system diagrams and schematics.
  • Experience of fault-finding across technical systems.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to completing work accurately.
  • The ability to take ownership of technical problems and work through complex information to identify a resolution.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues who have a range of technical and creative experience.

Due to the nature of our matchday operations, the role involves working evenings and weekends. You will work an established rotating shift pattern, with scheduled shifts generally running from 11:00 to 23:00 and averaging 40 hours per week. Occasional flexibility may be required to support operational needs

In return, we can offer an attractive base salary and additional benefits. ADI is experiencing rapid periods of growth within and across all divisions, and we're looking for someone stellar to help us make amazing happen.
