Job description

Location: On site / Preston, UK
job type: Permanent / Full-time
Sector and subsector: Commercial & Marketing | Media
Annual Salary range:from £ 26,500.00 to £ 30,000.00

ADI Studios creates content and delivers live screen programmes for some of the biggest names in sport, alongside creative projects for brands across a range of industries. From matchday content and stadium entertainment to campaigns, launches and bespoke digital creative, our Producers sit at the centre of bringing those projects together.

We’re looking for a Producer who combines strong organisation and client management with a genuine creative instinct and the confidence to work with technology.

Working as part of the wider Studios team, you’ll manage your own clients and projects, helping to plan and deliver matchday programmes, creative content and campaigns from initial brief through to final delivery. That means keeping projects organised, managing schedules and deadlines, coordinating content and resources, communicating with clients and internal teams, and making sure everything is ready when it needs to be.

The role has a strong creative element too. You’ll contribute ideas, develop briefs and work closely with designers, editors and other members of the team to create content that feels fresh, relevant and right for the audience.

We’re particularly interested in people who are comfortable working with technology. Good general computer literacy is essential, while experience using creative or production software such as Adobe Photoshop and/or vMix would be a real advantage. An understanding of digital content workflows, screen graphics, video or live production environments would also be beneficial.

Organisation is just as important as creativity. You should be comfortable managing multiple projects at once, working to fixed deadlines and handling the day-to-day administrative and logistical requirements that come with delivering content for live events.

As much of our work is within sport, an interest in sport — particularly football — is highly desirable. You don’t need to know every statistic, but a strong understanding of the game, its rules, terminology, supporters and wider culture will help you understand our audiences and the environments in which our content is being used.

Due to the nature of live sport and events, this isn’t a Monday-to-Friday role. The team works a 10-day fortnight, with weekend days forming part of the working pattern as required by the business and matchday schedule. Some evening work will also be required when supporting matches, programmes and other live events.

We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • Experience in a creative, content, live production, events or similar environment
  • Strong organisational, logistical and administrative skills
  • Experience working directly with clients or stakeholders
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Strong computer literacy and confidence learning new software
  • Experience with Photoshop, vMix or similar creative/production tools would be advantageous
  • A creative eye and genuine interest in content, design, video and/or live experiences
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • An interest in sport, particularly football, with a good understanding of its rules and culture
  • The ability to remain calm, adaptable and solutions-focused in a fast-moving environment
  • Flexibility to work a 10-day fortnight, including weekend days and some evenings where required by the business and live event schedule

A relevant degree in digital media, production, design or a related discipline is welcome, but it isn’t essential — relevant experience, skills and attitude are just as important.

In return, we offer a competitive salary, opportunities to work across major sporting and live-event projects, and flexibility around location with hybrid working available where appropriate.

ADI continues to grow across its Studios, Live and Displays divisions, and we’re looking for someone who wants to play an active part in what comes next.
