Social Care 2 Recruit is seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead the setup and expansion of supported living and residential services for adults in the South East. You will drive growth, oversee strategy, and ensure high-quality, person-centred care across launched services.

You will manage CQC registrations, develop operational systems, and build strong management teams while achieving occupancy and profitability targets in a dynamic social care market.

Qualifications

• Proven experience setting up supported living and/or residential adult care services from the ground up.
• Senior operations or leadership experience within adult social care.
• Experience with CQC registration, regulatory compliance and service development.
• Track record launching services, building teams and establishing operational processes.
• Commercial awareness to drive growth, occupancy and profitability.
• Excellent leadership, strategic planning and stakeholder management.
• Understanding of safeguarding, quality assurance and person-centred care.

Supported Living & Residential Adult Services

Location: South East England

Salary: £70,000+ plus commission

Are you an experienced leader who knows how to build, launch and grow supported living and residential care services from the ground up?

We are seeking an ambitious, commercially driven Operations Director to lead the development, setup and growth of supported living and residential services for adults across the South East.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven senior professional with hands-on experience of setting up new services, developing operational infrastructure and driving sustainable business growth within adult social care.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the setup, launch and development of new supported living and residential services for adults.
• Oversee operational strategy, service development and business growth.
• Manage CQC registration processes and ensure services meet regulatory requirements.
• Develop policies, procedures and operational systems to support safe, compliant and effective service delivery.

Essential Experience

• Proven experience setting up supported living and/or residential adult care services from the ground up.
• A strong background in senior operations or leadership within adult social care.
• Experience of CQC registration, regulatory compliance and service development.
• A track record of launching services, building teams and establishing effective operational processes.
• Commercial awareness, with the ability to drive growth, occupancy and profitability.
• Excellent leadership, strategic planning and stakeholder management skills.
• A full understanding of safeguarding, quality assurance and person-centred care.
