Job summary

Amey is offering an Operations Graduate opportunity in Paisley, Scotland, with a 2-year pathway, mentoring, and a guaranteed permanent role on completion. The role involves site visits, 37.5 hours weekly, and working across compliance, data analytics, and project delivery within the Public Estates Scotland team.

You will gain experience using data analytics and AI tools to improve performance and reporting while developing skills under Operations Managers and Project Managers.

Qualifications

• Degree in business, operations, data analytics, technology, engineering or related discipline.
• Full UK Driving License.
• Available to join the programme in September 2027.
• CTC/DBS clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Operations Managers and report to the Account Manager.
• Attend client meetings and prepare monthly performance and operational reports.
• Support service delivery in line with requirements and compliance.
• Carry out monthly operational and technical compliance audits.
• Assist with planned and reactive works across the estate.
• Analyse data to identify trends and enable data‑driven decisions.
• Explore AI and digital tools to improve reporting and efficiency.
• Assist Project Managers with scoping and pricing small projects.
• Help implement action plans for resource and time management.
