Job summary

Mission Underwriting Services in London, UK is seeking an Operations Coordinator to oversee and optimize day-to-day operational services for our MGA. You will partner with the Operations Manager to ensure high-quality delivery, accuracy, and continuous improvement across suppliers and internal teams.

The role emphasizes stakeholder management, process documentation, training for outsourced teams, and compliance checks.

Qualifications

• 5 years of progressive experience in the insurance industry (preferred)
• Client-facing experience is required
• CII qualifications are desirable but not mandatory
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse partners
• Ability to coordinate between key stakeholder teams
• Self-motivated and innovative with strong organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for allocated MGA, provide guidance and hands-on support in day-to-day operations
• Liaise between MGA and third-party service providers to ensure smooth delivery of services
• Identify activities for offshoring with outsourced services and ensure alignment with priorities
• Deliver training and process knowledge to outsourced teams to ensure consistency
• Review and maintain up-to-date process documentation for accurate delivery
• Be primary contact for outsourced services team and handle queries or escalations
• Oversee agency management activities including application processes and due diligence
• Own credit control and reconciliation activities and issue statements
• Manage task workflows to meet SLAs and deliverables
• Support compliance with regulatory checks and internal controls
• Contribute to onboarding new MGAs and defining service scopes
• Assist with process improvements and development of new services
• Attend service reviews and MGA performance meetings to drive improvement
